@rosa-leeke I use brave, too. And I don't have, (or want), a phone, just a desktop so all web. We have to do what we have to do. I'm just thrilled the password madness is over.

@rosa-leeke I finally gave in and went to firefox. When I found out that the Chinese were invested in Opera, it was easier to make the switch. Now there's no problem.

Can't save passwords, SonomaOpera for Mac
I have a Mac Studio and want to save passwords in opera. Even when I enter them manually, they don't save. Suggestions?

I am leaving Opera because it does not save Passwords in Sonoma. Bye Bye.

[Duplicated]Opera in Ventura doesn't save passwordsOpera for Mac
There is no dropdown that says, 'Save Password' or 'Never'.
The older versions had this. I have to log in PW's every time I go to a site. I've entered the PW's manually in Ventura, but it still doesn't work. Works in Safari, but not Opera.
Is there going to be a fix on this, or is this the way it will be?

RE: Copying the URL from the URL bar should be plain textOpera for Mac
TYVM, @vacord - That does work. If it's a really long url, do u know of any quick way or keystroke to get to the end in the address bar?

@leocg I do have that enabled and it makes no difference. I've turned it on and off and restarted, still the same.

RE: Copying the URL from the URL bar should be plain textOpera for Mac
@vacord Thx for the tip. I'm going to use Firefox and transfer a ton of links by hand until this gets cleared up. I really like Opera. And I do have the button clicked in the prefs to show the full url address. Just doesn't copy that way. I did file a bug report, too. Opera?

RE: Copying the URL from the URL bar should be plain textOpera for Mac
I only get a headline of the article when I copy/paste any article from the opera address bar, even if it shows it's https://etc, I still get just the headline when I past it. No full address. This is troublesome as I always look at full links before I open any article to make sure it's not spam. I will have to go to firefox until this is resolved. I am running Sierra OS desktop, using text-edit, apple mail, Version:69.0.3686.77
Opera is up to date

RE: I accidentally deleted a bookmark folder. Anyway to get it back?Opera for Mac
@zalex108 Thanks, I had an older back up on an external, so I retrieved a lot of them there. Still lost a lot. No sidebar of any significance for this issue, just links to whats app and fb. They made it too easy to delete, I just hovered for a second to move the folder and it was gone in a split second. They need to change this.
