I just need tab stacking and bookmarks side panel. Once it will be integrated in new Opera I will stop using old one.
I've seen a feature request for a side panel with a possibility to display extensions content, but opera devs don't care, and people like leushino just peace me off (he hijacks everyones threads, breaking rule 5 of this forum). This software and forum went down the drain, completely alienating old opera users... You can even ban me I don't care anymore

I did a report for tab hibernation and I want to know if it was even reviewed! Can someone take a look at bug DNA-26026 ?

+1 to all, but I like option "open tab next to current", so maybe optional in settings like in opera 12. I'd love to see vertical tabs, people might say "not this again", but you know opera had this functionality back in version 12... so I'd love to have it back, with some little improvements like scroll entire tab bar like in "vertical tabs" extension in Firefox.

I wish to have back the vertical tabs arrangement. In Opera 12 you had that, you could put tabs bar on side of the screen. Only problem was lack of scrolling, only wrapping or menu for the rest of tabs. But anyway you could squeeze around 20 tabs and still see titles.

Figured that out and filled a bug report. You can't open too many tabs (around 80-100) with new hibernation feature in about:flags.

I see this is old thread, but I found a bug and filled a bug report. You can't open 100 tabs when this option is turned on. I'm not sure when it triggers, but sometimes I can open 70 and sometimes 90 tabs, but always when it starts every new tab will be just a blank page with "Loading..." title.

Spoke to fast. Problem is still there. Limit would be around 80-90 tabs, than problem starts again guys. Can anyone test that for me? open some random 100 tabs, restart browser wait few minutes till all tabs get loaded, than try opening new tab from some link or bookmark. In my case new tabs are blank till I close half of opened from before.

Ok it works for now. I will try with 100 tabs like before... I have installed fresh installation in a completely different directory ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera Stable"). Even when I removed content of previous installations, windows was caching something...

Before I had "C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera" with stable and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera developer" with dev.

But every time I was launching Opera stable windows would let me choose only "Opera Development" for http links.
Now it finally lets me choose "opera browser". This might be the key, to make it work again!

If it starts again I will let you know. Anyone with that problem might try that first.

I will try now for the third time to unistall, remove all traces, restart pc and install a fresh copy. And this time I won't copy my bookmarks.

Tried all, malwarebytes didn't find anything, Chrome works fine tho. I can see that after all tabs finish load, after startup, any new tab won't load. Tried to remove fetched executables from "C:\Windows\Prefetch", and didn't help either. Removed any traces from registry and this didn't help too. I'm at loss here...

Update, after importing (copying db files) bookmarks and session, it's broken again...

Installed official release 24 and it works fine, so there is definitely something broken in last 2 builds.

-no-sandbox didn't solve it on my pc.
