@sgunhouse Thanks. I did try that. what i ended up doing was going into the folder where the launcher was, make a new shortcut and add the start maximised flag to the end of the command. I was able to get the browser to show on my screen then. I just dragged from the top of the browser to unmaximise and all is now well again!

[Solved] Opera won't come back to my desktopOpera for Windows
When I click on the opera icon, it opens. That's fine. It just won't show on my desktop. I don't have any virtual desktop installed and all the tricks won't bring it back.
I've resorted to deleting opera and reinstalling hoping it will do the trick.
Any help from anyone? I'm on a Windows 10 rig and this only occurred this morning.
