@burnout426 Thanks. I see that there is a delete on close setting.

Delete cookies each time closed?General
A programmer fixing a website asked me if I have regular (not session) cookies set to be deleted automatically each time Opera closes. Not that I want to, but in looking for the answer to their question I couldn't find any setting like that, only something requiring user (manual) action. Is there one?

RE: Opera 106.0.4998.19 Stable updateBlogs
106.0.4998.19 -- https://www.foxsports.com/live/fox-digital#no_universal_links -- In Opera, returns "An error occurred. Please try again later [Error:403]" Works with IE. Turning off ad blocking doesn't solve it. This has gone on for some time. Even had a go around with Fox support about it.

I thought auto update was turned off. I don't want auto update and consider it intrusive and insulting. I want to update Opera when I'm ready to, not have someone else force it upon me unprepared.

Being seen as outside the U.S. by one siteOpera for Windows
https://www.psaudio.com/collections/all?mc_cid=b487da6ca0&mc_eid=UNIQID
Opera 105.0.4970.13, Win 10 Pro x64 desktopThis page is supposed to show regular and sale prices, as it does with other browsers. It's not doing so with Opera, even logged in, because it sees me as outside the U.S. Further evidence of this is that when I open any of the items, there's a "This product is only available through a dealer in your area." The company doesn't use dealers in the U.S., only elsewhere. I've deleted cache, history, etc., i.e., everything but cookies. Is there anywhere to delete cookies for one site only? The result of doing so generally is a PITA.

Breaking up a Speed Dial folderOpera for Windows
In moving around SD thumbnails, occasionally I end up with a couple in an unintended folder. Is there a way to extract the separate thumbnails, short of "opening all" and recreating the individual items?

@burnout426 Programs don't ordinarily say they are creating a restore point during install.

Why don’t Opera updates show in Windows System Restore?Opera for Windows
In Win 10, when I open System Restore and consider which restore point to use, the affected programs list doesn’t include Opera, even when there have been multiple updates, as there were a couple of days ago. Why? Updates for FF and Edge show. And back with Opera 102, when an update messed with extensions, Opera was there and System Restore was able to go back to the previous version. No more?

How do we get rid of the Halloween(?) pot at the top of the SD, wasting space?

RE: Opera 104.0.4944.33 Stable updateBlogs
@genegold: I figured it out. There's a vertical purple "I" over on the right that has to be clicked on to show extensions. Why Opera disabled this by default on update -- and without saying anything? -- is anyone's guess and really annoying. Trying to figure out what happened and restore what I had took a good part of the afternoon.
However, fixing that doesn't explain the Windows system restore issue.

RE: How to get my extensions showing againOpera for Windows
I figured it out. One has to click on the purple vertical "I" on the right, which then shows extensions. Why Opera is setting this not showing by default on update is really annoying. Trying to figure this out and the various steps I tried to get back the extensions wasted a good part of the afternoon.

How to get my extensions showing againOpera for Windows
There were a few updates to Opera for Windows in the past 24 hours. Sometime in there, update did it again, that is eliminated my extensions from the Address Field level (right). Opera did it last month and then I used system restore (Win 10 Pro 22H2). But even though I create a restore point each night before shutting down, Opera is not listed among the programs affected (why not?). Which leaves me in a big pickle: How do I get my extensions back showing (AdBlock, IDM, etc.)? I've submitted bug reports on both issues.
Below is what's showing now, but for some reason the file showing the extensions from before gets an error message on uploading here.

RE: Opera 104.0.4944.33 Stable updateBlogs
@genegold Even worse, this time I can't figure out a way to go back via system restore, because even though I create a restore point each night via Windows 10, Opera is not showing in the programs affected, not any day. Why not?

You've done it again! This version has eliminated my extension icons from the address field level. WTF??

RE: Opera 102.0.4880.70 Stable updateBlogs
@leocg: It's Home for me. Whatever one calls it, i.e., Start Page, the problem is that Opera won't let us have an icon for it on the Address Bar, preferably the left side, for it.
Alternatively, I could add the site it to the Windows taskbar if I could only figure out how to do that.
-
RE: Opera 102.0.4880.70 Stable updateBlogs
@leocg: Not really. What's in Settings is Opera's Start page, not the user's, and has been for a long time. Don't know how many thousands of times I've had to close/reopen Opera instead of being able to click directly on an icon over on the left side of the Address Bar that loaded my home (start) page.
Opera's Start Page icon is actually redundant, since it opens the Speed Dial, which the '+' on the tab line already does.

When I open the browser version of a particular legitimate email I get and click on any link, I get the message below. It doesn't happen with Edge, FF or Chrome. Any ideas?
