@leocg I understand, but why wouldn't there be an option to entirely disable it instead of it was causing people problems? this is just filling up the tabs, even with just a few tabs open it's in the way.

agreed, revert it back the way it was, behind the favicon.

The amount of times I've already accidentally muted the tab is absurd, who's decision was this....

I prefer the innovative original where it was on hover on the favicon, it feels like the new volume icon fills up the bar.

If there is currently no way to revert, I hope there will be a toggle to revert back, because this way takes up way too much space.

It seems like the issue is now resolved, ingenuity at its finest.

Clearing cache doesn't fix a thing, issue still persists, update didn't fix it.

@aquinas9000 I agree with you very much so. I've been using Opera for a very long time, although it does execute a lot of aspects very well, it's known to also butcher some, the video player for example used to be superb, but in a recent update they removed a lot of beneficial features. When people started to complain they added a portion of them back, however a lot of them are still left out (https://forums.opera.com/topic/38673/suggestions-for-the-new-pip-or-video-pop-out?_=1604848273324)
Sadly they won't listen unless it causes a lot of commotion.

I mentioned this in the past (https://forums.opera.com/topic/37997/enable-disable-filter/10?_=1604842969481) and found out it is intended, in my honest opinion a hideous design choice, and that it doesn't have a toggle option is just infuriating.

How this bug made it on to stable version, blows my mind.

I thought beta goes through and extent wave of testing before pushing towards stable?

Why isn't there an update yet? shouldn't priority be set to high?

When are we expecting a fix?

On Opera Mobile, YouTube ads aren't being blocked at all.
