Everyone here seems to tell me, that it's a good thing the opera:plugins page has been removed.
I say: nonsense!
The only third part plug-in supported by Chromium is Flash and having a page for it when you can change its settings in the Settings page is what I would call nonsense. 🙂
It could happen, when installing the latest PPAPI-flash-plugin, all of a sudden certain online-videos couldn't play anymore because of damn area-restrictions from some tv-station-websites (e.g. ad-financed preview videos).
It doesn't make sense to me. If a video on a page has view restrictions and can only be watched from a certain place, using a new or an old version of Flash will not change it.
how can I now at least tell the version number of the version currently installed??
Windows' Control Panel or this Adobe's page
Anyway, version of Flash should not be something relevant for the regular user.
BTW, the main issue of this topic has been resolved so closing it.
