RE: Problem logging into several sitesOpera for Windows
@leocg I feel like I shouldn't still have to do this, given that we are now in Build 112. Unless it is PNC blocking since it doesn't recognize Opera as an approved browser! How difficult can that be?
PNC says it isn't their problem.

RE: Opera 112Blogs
I'm still having compatibility issues. Have been unable to log into PNC bank with Opera for nearly two months, unless I use a user-agent to spoof another browser. Just recently, Charles Schwab opens, but say my browser may not be recognized, though it functions fine, for now. I've been using Opera since the first version, and thought that most compatibility issues

Still unable to log into PNC bank website with Opera 111. I can use other browsers and use a user agent switcher to use Opera. Bank says it isn't their fault. I don't know. Have used in the past without problems, even though Opera isn't in their list of approved browsers.

RE: Opera 110.0.5130.64 Stable updateBlogs
@chawoobie: After extended discussions with PNC bank tech support, it appears that PNC does block Opera even though they say it should work. I was able to regain access to PNC by having them unblock my account after multiple failed attempts to access the site. I can now access PNC with DuckDuckGo, Firefox, Chrome, Edge - just not PNC. I asked them to fix this.
After further exploration of the isssue on my own, it appears that the user-agent string is the problem. Operas UA string is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/124.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 OPR/110.0.0.0
DuckDuckGO, for example, is identical except the last item is not OPR/110.0.0.0, but Edg/124.0.0.0.
So it appears that Opera having the OPR/110.0.0.0 in the UA string is the culprit. While I wait for a permanent fix, could I just edit the UA string in Opera via the Developer Tools to reflect the Edg/124.0.0.0 string? Or would that mess up Opera in general? -
RE: Opera 110.0.5130.64 Stable updateBlogs
I can't access PNC bank website with Stable version of Opera. I get an "Access Denied" error message. All other browsers work just fine. PNC acknowledges there are some issues with Opera and PNC. I have no problems using Opera on other websites. Have been using Opera as my primary browser since version 2!

@ezenofx I feel your pain. I've been using Opera since version 1, and I don't want to quit using it.

@leocg Yes. I can log in using a user-agent, or any of the other browsers. I even tried several times to uninstall Opera using Revo uninstaller, then reinstalling, but problem persists.

Problem logging into PNC BankOpera for Windows
I've been having a recurrent problem logging into the PNC Bank with Opera. I have used Opera since version 1, and I have had few problems logging into most sites. However, in the last week or so, when I try to log in the following message pops up: "Service unavailable
Online Banking is unavailable right now. Please try again later or contact us."I can log into PNC with Chrome, DuckDuckGo, Edge, or Firefox with no problem. I can also use a User-Agent with Opera and log in, so it doesn't seem to Opera, per se, that is the problem.
PNC says they don't support Opera, but I have been using with their site for year with no problem,
Any thoughts?

RE: Opera doesn't run after updatingOpera for Windows
@melissaharvey Try Revo unistaller to remove Opera from your system, then try installing Opera again. Simply deleting files/folders leaves crap behind. After running Revo to uninstall Opera, be sure to run the extra option to clean out all traces of Opera from Registry, etc. Then try reinstalling Opera again.

RE: Can't install latest Opera on Windows 10 EnterpriseOpera for Windows
@adroman Can you install any version of Opera? If so, download and run the free Revo uninstaller to uninstall Opera. Be sure to use the option to look for hidden bits and pieces in the Registry, etc. Hopefully it will remove ALL traces of Opera. Then you can try installing the version you want.
Good luck

RE: Fidelity loginOpera for Windows
@orshee I had the same problem with PNC bank. The odd thing was that I could access their site on my Desktop but not on my laptop with the same setup.
What worked for me was using Revo uninstaller to completely remove Opera, then reinstalling it. Once I did that everything worked fine.
The problem is that over time odds and ends accumulate in the Registry and other places on the computer, that hose everything. The normal uninstall in Windows leaves a lot of junk on the computer - and this stuff is what is causing the problem.
Revo uninstaller is free, run it and uninstall Opera,, and be sure to follow up with the Revo scan for other bits of Opera on the computer, and remove them. Then do a reinstall of Opera.
Worked wonders for me after trying the usual uninstall option in Windows 5 or 6 times with no luck.

RE: Power Outage Hit, now Error 0xc0000022Opera for Windows
@xzoron I would download Revo uninstaller then run it to completely remove Opera. Revo gets rid of stuff in the Registry and other locations, in addition to simply removing the program. Then try reinstalling Opera.
I was having trouble getting Opera to log into my bank from my laptop, even though it worked fine on my Desktop with same OS, Opera version, etc. After I completely removed Opera with Revo then reinstalled Opera, everything worked fine.
When you use Revo be sure to run the added crap remover option to completely remove all traces of Opera before reinstalling

RE: Can't login to my Internet bankingLounge
@jcnw If you're still having this problem, I have a likely solution. I had the exact same problem for the past week with Opera and PNC bank. What was odd is I could log in with Opera from my desktop, but not from my laptop. After some chats with PNC that didn't help, recalled a video I watched on YouTube several days ago that was recommending everyone should have Revo Uninstaller on their computer. I used it before but forgot about it.
What Rove does is fully removes/deletes programs from your computer as well as any junk left behind in the Registry and other places. I ran Revo and fully deleted Opera, then reinstalled it and problem solved! I an now log in to my bank without problems. BTW the program is free.

RE: Opera 101 StableBlogs
Since the change to Opera 1, I have had problems logging into some sites. First it was ONC bank, though that seems resolved. Now, when I try to book a crise from Royal Caribbean, I select date, ship, destination, etc. When I try to select a specific date, I get an error: Ooops! Something went wrong try again.

@reverse7 If you right click on the left arrow to the left of address bar, a button will pop up to allow access to speed dial.

RE: [Compilation]Discussions About Missing Speed Dial/Home Page Button In Opera OneAppearance
@leocg There are left and right arrows and a refrech circle to the left of the address bar. Click the left arrow and you can select speed dial, just as before.
