@vivistop324 Might also consider using Revo uninstaller. This is a free program that allows removal of virtually any program. What is nice, is that it gets down into the Registry and removes any little lingering bits and pieces. I use it regularly when I am uninstalling a program and have used it to completely uninstall Opera before reinstalling.

RE: Problem with User Agent?General
@leocg FINALLY figured it out! It appears that Maywarebytes was automatically adding itself to Norton Utilities: Malwarebytes -> Settings -> Windows Security Center -> Always register Malwarebytes in the Windows Security Center. (I turned this off). If this was enabled, Malwarebytes would add Malwarebytes to Norton: Norton -> Settings-. App Permissions. One of the "features" that resulted from this addition is "Safe Cam," which seemed to causing the problem. If I selected the option to "do nothing", Malwarebytes would over time reenable this. So I deleted the entire Malwarebytes application from App Permissions. Now, all seems well! We will see. I'm hoping this may address other, minor issues I have with other programs.

@chawoobie: Curiously, I just tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge and get the same error. As noted, Brave works fine.

RE: Opera 120.0.5543.128 Stable updateBlogs
I have been having problems with accessing sites such as www.portbermudawebcam.com as well as other port cams. I get an errror about be unable to access. I can accesss then just fine with other browsers - even less well-known browsers such as Brave. Last night I completely uninstalled Opera using Revo uninstaller, then reinstalled Opera from scratch. I was then able to access the port sites just fine. Today, now, I get the same error again and cannot access any of the portcams. I don't know what else to try, other than just using a different browser for these sites.

RE: Problem with User Agent?General

RE: Problem with User Agent?General
@chawoobie Problem solved! After trying different options to resolve problem, I finally uninstalled Opera using Revo uninstaller to get rid of ALL traces of Opera - even from the registry. I then reinstalled and the problem with the portmiamiwebcam.com site was resolved. I can also open other port cams with no trouble! Thanks for suggestions.

Problem with User Agent?General
I still have problems accessing certain website with. On some sites I can login but, before I login, I get a message that the site may not work with my current browser. I ignore it and press on, and everything works fine!
Also, if I try to log into a site like: www.portmiamiwwebcam.com, it won't load - I get an error. I can access site fine with other browsers - even brave, with no problem.
Is there something I am doing wrong, or is there a problem with the User Agent??

RE: Opera 118Blogs
Finally have Opera working fine with PNC bank. But problem still persists with Wells Fargo - unsupported browser. Able to spoof with user agent for Chrome.

RE: "This version is no longer supported" message on Google CalendarGeneral
@rif You have my sympathy. I've been seeing this more and more with websites. My bank doesn't like Opera, Facebook is now showing this version (or this browser) is no longer supported, xfinity sometimes has problems, and there are others. It is strange because other, less common browsers, like Vivaldi, Brave, and DuckDuckGo work fine.
Is it something in the User Agent that Opera sends to websites? These other browsers use the Google engine, so that doesn't sseem to be the issue and, if you use a user agent switcher, that seems to help. So it seems that the info Opera is sending to these website is the problem.
I've been using Opera since version 1, and it has only been in the last few updates (maybe since 114 or so), that these problems have become more frequent.

Now Facebook says that Opera is no longer supportedOpera for Windows
I've posted in the past about the problems/incompatibility I have been experiencing recently with Opera. The last few days, now, when I log into Facebook, a popup appears on the lower left saying "Your browser is no longer supported." This is getting more and more frustrating.

TurboTax automatic download function doesn't support OperaGeneral
I have been having problems with some websites when using Opera since the last few updates.. I often get message that my browser is not supported or out of date. I have been trying out Brave as an alternative, and it seems to work well. Today, I began doing my taxes with Turbtax. When I tried to use TT's automatic download function for several financial institutions, I got a popup saying my browser isn't supported, and that I should install Safari, Edge, Chrome, or Firefox!
This is getting to be a big problem for me. More and more I'm finding compatibility problems that I didn't have before. I don't know if it is just a User Agent issue, as Brave causes me no problems and doesn't pop up incompatability alerts, but it is getting to be more frustrating. I have been using Opera since version 1, so I've been pretty loyal, but this is becoming increasingly frustrating. The problems exists on two desktops and two laptops, so I don't think it is a setting on my computer.

RE: Opera 116.0.5366.71 Stable updateBlogs
@daria19: I won't give up on Opera that fast. After 116 versions, it is hard to give up, but I need something more reliable right now. Looking forward to getting back to Opera.

RE: Opera 116.0.5366.71 Stable updateBlogs
As sad as it is for me to say, I'm about to switch browsers after using Opera since build 1! For the past 4 - 5 months, I have been finding increased incompatibilities with sites (mainly financial) that I use regularly. My bank, PNC, does not seem to like Opera, and I have had to etiher use a user-agent switcher (doen's always work) or another browser to access the site. Also, on Charles Schwas and Wells Fargo, when I log in it suggests that I use an up to date browser like Chrome, Edge, Firefox even though I am using the latest version of Opera. I can still log in with Opera after ignoring the prompt.
What is puzzling, is that I have tried DuckDuckGo, Vivaldi, and Brave, as well as more mainstream browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Firefox with no problem. It seems to me there is some sort of user-agent issue with Opera (?) that is causing these problems, since DDG, Vivaldi, and Brave are recognized and accepted.
I've been patiently waiting for a fix, but it is getting more frustrating by the day. I will keep Opera on my computers and check back periodically, but I need a browser I can ely on. Right now, it looks like it will be Brave.

RE: Opera 116.0.5366.51 Stable updateBlogs
Still no joy when it comes to trying to load certain sites: PNC Bank, xfinity stream, others. Have to use Chrome for these sites. Hopefully, this problem will be resolved soon, or I will be changing browsers.

RE: Opera 116Blogs
No joy! I still can't log into PNC bank using Opera! Interesting, if it helps, is that whenever I try to log in, the same PNC home page opens. If I use any other browser, the home page varies with different banking/investing themes. Not sure what that means, but interesting. I'm also running into occasional problems with several other sites, as well. I'm about to give up.

RE: Problem logging into PNC BankOpera for Windows
@mawagner0 Sadly, no! Chrome still works, DuckDuckGo, Firefox, Brave but not Opera!
