Well, latest Opera Beta works on my device now (sub110333 without the whole install animated process) but is awful! Rolling out a new UI, are you kidding? That's another product! It's like I'm back to square one as it was in Opera 14 only that now this browser doesn't resemble WebKit, it's more like a fragment of what it was.

RE: Opera for Android 41 released in beta channel!Opera for Android
https://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/624539 I can't access this URL with Opera 37. Same thing with opera v41? Opera 28 works and latest Canary throw an warning about credentials before page access running Android 4.3 unencrypted (no password or pin). Link found on http://www.opera.com/blogs/mobile/2016/11/opera-max-privacy-mode-filters-just-got-upgraded/

RE: Crashing just after openingOpera for Android
Well, few weeks ago when Canary 56 was arrived that browser crashed too and YouTube update start to mimic the same behavior. The only problem with Opera browser was with first version of Opera 29 when crashes come out.

RE: Push notifications without Google Play ServicesOpera for Android
Chrome and other Google services works hand in hand and serve the same purpose, Opera products can use Google services for their purpose too, that's common knowledge. For example FeedNews (Opera ASA) app will throw upfront the news based on Google search keywords even you use adblock or any tracker killer or any kind of browser.

RE: Unable to run Opera after update - Saved Pages apparently goneOpera for Android
Well, Opera 14 dixit. It means that a chunk of memory is executed so it will be rolled out the next one sometimes with force stop in between, never seen that since Opera 18. On the other hand I didn't try the newest UI. Related: the Canary channel from Chrome may have something to do with that.

RE: Opera 20 for AndroidOpera Mini
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/opera-software-asa/opera-mini/opera-mini-20-0-2254-109835-release/opera-mini-web-browser-20-0-2254-109835-android-apk-download/ Android 4.1 as for low level api in case that for some reason the generic version doesn't detect your "modded" device since is not an work of ART. Anyway Opera signature it's like 31b info in erasable cache after first run so doesn't have any interference.

RE: Run at Android Boot/Start-up No Longer an Option?Opera Max
Google services may have a delay at startup, some processes can be restarted and is not a good thread mangling a VPN filter around.

RE: Reader modeOpera for Android
If you are in a ditty nitty put "http://googleweblight.com/?lite_url=" in front of any web address. I guess that's the reader mode from Chrome which on complex pages works like UC Browser. Btw, Chrome for Android has a Canary line now and the app can be found at The Store. Opera Mini 3 was better and apparently it was not a browser for his time.

RE: Google control on Opera for IOSOpera Mini
Google refuses to allow me to search the internet, always blocking access telling me nothing found, while I can easily find the websites with firefox. Trying to use DuckDuckGo, Google blocks any attempt by trying to determine if I am a robot and will not accept the typed input. We need to be able to choose search engines and not have google control where we go or what we see. Even using speed dial, google does not go directly to the URL, but gives a list of URLs, while other browsers as expected go right to the selected URL.
Google doesn't control anything. In short, you don't have access to Google search because your proxy is not standard, most likely you are using a public proxy which could be unsafe.

RE: Opera won't download - pdf, mp3 etcOpera for Android
BB? Far out! I was able to run Fennec x86 version on second Nexus phone running Android 4.0 and I have the same issue like you. Not if that counts, just saying.
