@kened: why not consider buying yt premium if it a good product, you are a student ?

@andrew84: just buy yt premium. you are using yt because you find it useful, it helped you learn any tutorial on whatever job you are doing, repairing your car with a yt video etc.. it fair enough to pay them back instead of pirating them when you are grown up. No one work for free whether it the youtuber or employees from google.

Thanks for the update, been using Opera since 2017, haven't experience any bugs, pretty stable so far.

@neewuser: well they seem to already fix the issue on https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2023/08/opera-103-0-4906-0-developer-update/
but havent yet push that update, pretty annoying when you really need to use your browser quickly, you have to wait for that splash screen...

@aquelenoob: you can't expect the free lunch to be forever, if everyone using adblock, youtube won't be able to be free as it is now.
Youtube is already implementing ways to detect adblock and giving x3 tries of blocking ad before blocking the playback video because people abusing the adblock.
Please consider at least sometime to allow ad so we can keep using youtube for free.

@lenmaer: yup it still broken, workaround for me is to moved the tab before the 5th tabs, only then i can mute the tab.

@yewwowtea well it vary depending your antivirus.
in general just temporary disable everything related to protection.

for me it just protection shield:

@yewwowtea just happen to me too, i just disable my bitdefender antivirus, then it work.
anything related to opera login will be blocked by my antivirus.

@icecode: from inspect element am getting 2 errors:

1. Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read property 'getColor' of undefined
2. Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'onThemeChanged' of undefined

am using default setting for my browser and using latest version 73.0.3856.257

@icecode: here what i try so u can repeat the issue unless am missing something obvious.

from sidebar>GX calc>Setting Icon>btn font color>click on red>press enter>refresh window. still has default white color.

and for Show help , yes and no button doesnt respond as well

hi, the GX calculator options doesnt seem to apply when changing it colour.

just use the address bar, i never used the search box from the speed dial, u can hide it from setting>adv>start page.

if u care about privacy, just dont sign in google account, that way google cant really target you and u can use google sign off.
