Maybe the source of the problem is related to the NSS version which I have also encountered. (I am using Slackware-Current) After upgrading the NSS version, I was able to open it normally.
The problem has been resolved anyway, but I was always able to click a link on the error page to continue.
There was a post on Slashdot that the GlobalSign CA accidentally revoked their own certificate, meaning websites using certificates issued by them might cause errors for a few days. GlobalSign has fixed their issue, but sites using cached certificates might still be giving errors - however the site you list is fine currently.
"WAS?" Did deleting "Local State" fix it?
I'm still not convinced this is a bug. Have you checked your preference region selection?

I just noticed that this says it's my first post. How that is possible is beyond me. I've posted more than 22,000 comments to the Opera forum in the last decade and half (maybe longer).
I went into the file and replace CN with US somewhere I forgot. I think I manually switched it to the US. Another computer the location was registered at JP. I think there should be a menu option to allow users to change it.
