@burnout426 Thank you very much. Discord indeed does not have a setting to stop this.

Many websites incl. this forum put a little number on the tab when you have unread notifications. I would like to disable this, specifically for Discord. Nothing on the Discord settings seem to work, incl. "mute all notifications" etc.

There does not appear to be an Opera or Chrome extension to do this. Help? Is there maybe a flag setting for it?

Why do you need my browser history?

Same issue. A week ago I updated OperaGX and now I no longer see the URL mouseover popup in the bottom left corner. There may be a workaround seen here: https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/comments/umj16g/how_do_i_turn_on_the_link_preview_thing_on_gx/

...but that would mean I can no longer open last session's tabs if I close the browser, which I occasionally do in order to restart the computer and install updates etc.

Help?

@donq Thank you so very much. The "Suggestions" section that was added some months ago was slowly driving me nuts, with no way to disable it.

I see no way to get rid of the tabs up top, nor to make each open tab show up in the sidebar so you don't have to click or hit keys to know what you have open. All I wanted was tabs on the side...

Any updates on being able to disable this in Opera settings, or is there an official feature request to make that happen somewhere?

@kikonen It's not a bug. You can request a way to disable the shortcut in the proper forum.

The workaround appears to be to install an extension specifically for the search engine you're looking to use so that it'll appear on your right-click context menu. This will not let you delete search engines ofc.

E.g.: https://addons.opera.com/en-gb/extensions/details/search-in-youtube/

Any updates on this? I'm looking for an extension to delete search engines or at least re-arrange the order of them since I REALLY don't need Yahoo/Bing and all the other crap on my right-click Search with list.
