If I have a window that has only a one tab and I move that tab to other window, the window is not removed, instead a new window with "empty" tab is created.

It should not work like that. If the last tab form window is moved some where else, then that window should be removed. Do not create a new one there. Quite basic.

I really don't understand what the actual f the Opera developers are doing. How in the hell they can break basic things like this? All the time. Is there any alpha/beta testing done? This has been quite disappointing for a while now. Operas are denigrating fast. There are still some features that keep me using it, but mostly the reason I don't migrate to some working browser is that I'm too lazy, and it is just easier to use what you have used to use.

When ever there is a new upgrade, I have a tiny little blink of hope that at least some issues with tabs would be fixed. Instead, we just get more. Frustrating.

Moving tabs in Egde for example is a much better experience, it just works and feels good. I wish Opera developers would spend some time to examine how other browser do it, and then update Opera to modern standards in regarding this.

When dragging out tabs from Microsoft Edge browser, you can "Snap" them it to Windows Snap positions straight a way.

With Opera, you have to first drag the Tab Out, and release the mouse, and then Drag again the new window if you want to snap it.

It would be great if we could just drag out a tab and snap it with Windows Snap.

I have 4lk monitor, and usually Opera Windows is half of thesize of the monitor, and I quite often want to drag tabs to other side, to compare stuff, or for later reading. It would help greatly if I could just drag the tab and it would snap without dropping it in between.

If I click that "reset sync" link, I got the same stupid "ad" video that is in post above. I does not help at all. Just makes you angry.

This is really annoying and frustrating.

After the latest Update, Opera gives a warning message every time I open a page from external program, like Slack or Discord.

The "Remember my choise" button remembers my choise only when it is exactly same page I open. But it doesn't remember URLs. So every time I open youtube link from Slack, I get this warning, if it's not a video I have seen allready.

I rather like not to have that dialog at all. It is quite annoying.

It would be nice if the tab list which opens with Control Space would have a Speaker Icon for the tabs that play audio. Same way as the tabs in tab bar have .

This would greatly help to locate the tabs that play (unwanted) audio when you have multiple windows open.

There is a search field in Shortcut settings, but it does nothing:

As you can see on the screen, there is an artifact in red circle.
(Which by a change happens to read "artifacts" this time.)

It is the Text box which appear when hover over a tab. Sometimes they got stuck like that, as a faint box that can't be removed.

I haven't found way how to replicate it. Maybe it happens when I do something fast before the box is fully fated out.

Restarting Opera fixes that.

It would be nice if we could have window specific Sidebar settings instead of global setting (all windows), so we could have sidebar open only in one Window (or more, but not in all).

I usually have one Opera Window where I keep open my email and social media accaunts. In this window, I also like to keep the Sidebar open, to get access to Whats-up and Telegram. But in other window instances, I would like to keep sidebar closed. Now it is not possible, as the "Show Sidebar" setting affects to all windows that Opera has open.

It is a great browser from some original developers of Opera.

When I restart Opera (with multiple) browser windows open, Opera will start to play all the videos that are in the active tabs *.

It Should Not Do That. If I Have paused video before closing Opera, I don't want opera to start to play it for me. It doesn't matter If I had closed to browser. If I have paused a video, then keep it paused.

Also, if I select a tab with a video after restarting Opera, Opera starts to play the video in that tab. Even if I have earlier paused the video. Again. I want to keep my videos paused, if I don't hit play myself. Should be simple.

This all is hugely annoying as after restart I have to keep pausing the videos. Often I have multiple windows open, maybe a few tutorials running, so it is frustration to start hunting those that Opera decided to start to play. It can take a while, and then I also lose the place I was.

This amount of issues with Opera has been quite overwhelming. How it is possible that every basic feature is being destroyed update after update?
Sorry for my attitude, but the late development has been just a huge disaster. A bunch of useless toys are introduced while the basic functionality of the browser is collapsing. Why was this autoplay/not to play even changed? It didn't work like this earlier. Not a single good update for a year or so. Just more issues after each update, and nothing that matters gets fixed.

It is evident that new bugs will be introduced. That is not the main problem. The issue is to spend resources on Chess-plugins and Ai-toys when the basic functionality is broken.

Basic tab and window management have been broken now over half a year. New tabs system were introduced, and I had hopes that at least some issues would have been fixed. No, instead we got plenty of more issues, and nothing useful new stuff. The grouped tabs just not work very well. Separated windows work much better for same purposes. If I want to group my tabs, I create a new window and move tabs there. Sadly, there are a lot of bugs and issues introduces lately that hinders that workflow.

The newest version introduced a bug where a new window is created when the only tab is moved to new window. So you get empty extra Windows when you move a tab to other window. Quite annoying. And also, we can't' resize windows from top border anymore. And dozens of old ones. Like, tabs can't be dropped to empty space of the top bar.

I can't understand how it is even possible that these kinds of things get to the released version. And there are many more basic issues with tabs that have been ignored for a long time. Then we get some chess-plugins instead of fixes to basic functionality, Really? What the f is going on with Opera?

Try any other browsers, handling of tabs is light years away, Oper. It makes me quite angry and sad.

In every other Windows app I use, I can drag from the top of the window and resize the height of the app window. But not with Opera, (anymore).
