Hi, i have been using opera for years without any error, until today, i opened opera and in the toolbar i have whatsapp installed, when i press the button to send a voice note opera crashes. i have tried to update the browser, change the "read only" permissions of the installation folder. and nothing, it keeps happening. The only thing I have changed on my pc, is that yesterday I bought a new GPU and installed nvidia experience and their respective drivers. I heard that it has something to do, the strange thing is that since yesterday I have them installed, and I had no problems until today,

Sorry for my English, I am not a native speaker.

I have been using opera for more than 5 years and I always knew that its ram memory consumption was huge but I never had any problems since I always had "good equipment" so everything was fine. Until the last update. The browser gets very slow after watching a video or live on youtube (more in live). when trying to comment it feels a horrible delay between typing and writing in the comments section. also choosing an emoticon is a regret because it starts to delay/get laggy the entire browser. I have to restart the browser to get everything back to normal. But this is already unbearable because if I open the live again and there are many comments it starts to get laggy again. I have already this day an uncountable number of times that i have reset the browser to give a temporary solution.

this never happened to me with previous versions of opera

@burnout426 Hi, I already did the manual uninstall. I saved a back up and deleted everything as you told me. but it was not necessaryt the back up. i just reinstalled and opened the program with everything backed up in it hahaha.

How could that happen? according to me i deleted everything.

I am having since several updates ago (2) problems with updating the browser, when I click on the option to update and recover the browser does the restart as usual but does not update, the notification of a new update appears again.

When researching I saw that the most feasible solution was to reinstall the program by downloading the latest version and installing it.

But when I try to try it, I get this error (it is translated)
"The execution of the code cannot continue because it was not found. opera_elf.dll This problem can be solved by reinstalling the program." after this error appears I can't open the browser anymore and I have to restart my pc to use it.

Well, I would do the reinstallation and do it, but I have folders with saved pages that I need for my work. I am afraid of losing all my info in the browser.

Is there any way to back them up, back up all my browser info before uninstalling?

A few months ago I started having problems when I wanted to update my version of opera. the update was available but when I clicked on it, it just restarted the browser and continued with the old version.

I posted the problem in this forum and they told me to try with the installer. so I did and it was impossible. I had to reinstall manually. Now after months the same thing is happening again. I tried to update from operasetup and it didn't work.

now every time I try to open the program I get this.

I already know in advance (because it is not the first time it happens to me) that I have to do the manual uninstallation, since I cannot reinstall or uninstall.

Well, with the surprise that I can't uninstall either. i get an error.
i searched in this forum and recommend manual uninstallation which is not a recommendation or solution at all, it's a huge problem and a large procress.

i saw a comment of yours also advising to use the promt comant with
"C:\Program Files "Opera launcher.exe" /uninstall /runimmediately /deleteuserprofile=0
but it doesn't work.

@ajelandrop But I'm still having issues with YouTube after delete ad blocker. The comment section, emojis. etc remains laggy. less laggy, but still laggy.

@anonimus1337 I deactivated the adblocker for the Youtube page that I had installed with the app who install chrome extensions in opera and there seems to be improvement. I will keep reporting.

@ajelandrop I feel it is something about Youtube and the Opera Ad Blocker or some extension with the same functionality.

I don't know if I'm hallucinating but before I used to have an infinity of milti-processes too but now they appear with energy efficency, which I don't remember appearing before but I think I'm getting suggestible.
