A post in a forum thread that contains an "I still use Opera" comment and a "View more:" link to a Vietnamese spam/self-promotion site (for hybrid chickens, of all things). Either it's outright spam, or they're experimenting to see what they can get away with...

I was faster than you posted there ;P
Lol, I did see the page disappear, I guess I was fast, just not fast enough.

Ok this is not spam and I know it isn't the right topic but since I've done it off-topic before let's go again.
Please just close this topic (and other topics of its kind if any appears). It's meaningless, it doesn't mention a single feature. The user just says goodbye without any reason then it's case closed, you can close the topic before it's hijacked and evolves into discussions already set a thousand times in other threads...

See? It already went completely off-topic with @alreadybanned comment being solely about extensions for Firefox.
Don't close it, just delete it. The Mozilla users forum is not here.

We'll, everybody's allowed to express his or her opinion in here. I don't wanna delete those posts since it's very frustrating if you're writing about your disappointment and you get forced to shut up.
I'm not seconding the opinion, but I'll grant everybody the right to speak up.I know that there are dozens of posts about this topic and I'm like "Really? Another one just for whining?", but until I am given the possibility to append the new posts to older ones, they are going to stay.
I hope that's OK with you. Just ignore them...

I'll keep my opinion that the topic is pointless as it doesn't give any specifics for us to know why the user is frustrated/disappointed. This is not expressing your frustration, this is rage quiting, spitting in Opera's face and also bothering all the regular members who have to go through these kinds of topics.
A dozen times I tried to ask the OP in such topics but he/she never comes back and someone else hijacks the thread with something already discussed to the death before or it becomes a topic for public spitting in Opera's face with equally vague assertions (an example from this very topic: "Same here old opera was way better").
When I say it must be closed or deleted my intention is to discourage people so they don't keep doing that over and over again like an unmoderated approach is doing.

If the moderator is not going to delete threads such as this one, at least lock it. What IS the point of yet another pointless "Bye Bye" Opera? The OP stands on his soapbox and waves good-bye and then the thread is high-jacked to become yet another pointless whine-fest. I understand that everyone is entitled to express his/her opinion so you might not want to delete the post as SPAM. But the thread should be locked since it really has no relevance.

I closed it. But it wouldn't surprise me if this leads to opening just another one right next to it...

I was one of those who added to that thread and prolonged it, but my posts there about the forum were off-topic and I fully agree with the thread being closed.
I'm afraid it will be a long time though before threads are not being constantly started complaining about the new Opera browser, My Opera being shut down, or indeed the way this forum works!

The "Flag" option has just got active, so it seems this thread is going redundant.
