How to uninstall opera

I've tried everything with this junkware!! YEs I am calling it junkware maybe even malware!! It not uninstalling no matter how many minutes i wait, and how many times i cancel and reinstall opera it just won't remove itself!! Please help me manually remove this browser of yours.. Tell me which regkeys to remove and such please!! I don't want to just remove program files like a friend told me and have system errors please help

Generally if the uninstaller is not working in means you have larger issues with your system. Download and install Malwarebytes and run a full scan (it takes awhile). Then try Revo Uninstaller to remove Opera.

So you install no other programs other than Opera, none at all (not even an app), and all of the Windows updates are installed? Also, which version of Windows are you using?

I'm on windows 8.1 I have HexChat, AVAST, and Mozilla Firefox Installed and yes i have all the updates.

It was installed with the installer from opera.com and it just doesn't move from half way through.. could it be the auto-updater running the background causing this issue?

I have did what you said, and this time i checked the task manager and made sure that no opera processes was running (Not even the updater this time and it was but i ended it) and it removed opera this time around.. Strange.. Very Strange program you guys have here.. :|

Since no one else has encountered this problem I've be more inclined to think it is your system that is the source of the issue. Next time try turning off your virus scanner for a bit to see if that was interfering with anything.
