Printer Settings not Saving - Opera 29

I am using Opera 29, and I use MindBody as a POS. When I print receipts (the only thing I print at all on this machine), I have to reset the printer settings every single time. It doesn't save at all. I've done a look-see, and everything I've found on Google tells me to go to File|Printer Settings. Unless I'm blind, that no longer exist in Opera. Any helps, hints, suggestions?

None of them are saving... Every time I go to print a receipt, I have to set the Paper Size, Margins, and uncheck Header and Footers.

Hey , rat. I had the same gripe and didn't see anything in another forum topic or the Help files so I took a shot in the dark. I don't know if this is helpful, but after one experimental run it seems to be a work-around.
I use a Brother monochrome laser for my default printer on Windows, so I'll spare you the processes specific to setting my preferences. Short version is - Make the appropriate settings in your printer's preferences as default (no footers or headers, margin size etc.). Then use Cntrl+Shift+P (instead of Cntrl+P or the Opera menu) and it goes straight to the system dialog, bypassing the preview altogether.
If you are printing only part of a web page such as a recipe or an account statement where you click the print command link on the page, you have to let the preview load and then click on "Print using system dialog" down at the bottom of the Print Preview's control panel. Otherwise it might print the whole page.
Worked for me.
Good luck!

Have you found a different solution yet? I don't want to use the system dialog because I still need to change some settings in the preview.
I have the same problem in Opera 29.0.1795.47 on Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS (x86_64; X-Cinnamon).
The settings are just not remembering. I have to change the printer, paper size, margins, headers and stuff every single time.
Whether printing to paper or 'printing' to PDF, when you need to print a lot of pages from the internet, this becomes really annoying really fast.

If you go to opera://print/ you can change settings and hit save.
But it doesn't save anything. -

Workaround: Install Chromium. It has the same code base, and does actually remember the printer settings.
