Opera Crashes

I complained recently about non-stop crashes with Opera 138, and discovered that the crashes only occur when Block Ads and Block Trackers is enabled in the side panel for all pages. when I disable these, the crashes completely stop. It was a little funny, because it was a race between trying to turn them off and the crash that was about to happen within 30 seconds before the crash that occurred. This same behavior is happening with the new Opera 139, any insight welcomed, please help

@leocg said in Opera Crashes:
@bbildman Disable all adblocker lists and start enabling them again, one by one, to try to find which one is causing the issue.
The problem I have is the minute I enable ad blocking in settings, Opera will crash, and it's almost impossible to boot Opera and find enough time to enable or disable a certain list before it crashes. If you can tell me how to enable ad blocking and also have all lists disabled, I might could do what you are suggesting.

@bbildman Do still have a 137 folder on the installation directory? If so, try starting Opera from there, enable adblocker and disable the lists except for Easylist.
Then close Opera, open it normally and start the process of enabling the lists to see which one is causing the problem.

@leocg Did that, and even booting Opera.exe in the 137 folder caused O to crash immediately. I managed to turn it off again in 139, and now I'm back to no ad blocking or tracking.
But that is not the issue, I think, it's about what is going on as to WHY Opera started to crash in 138 and 139.
Is there a way to get at the lists without doing it in an Opera that refuses to stay open long enough with ad blocking on to be able to access the lists.
