  • I've made two posts in the last couple of days, to different threads, and in both cases the thread did not jump to the top of the board list as it presumably should do.

Also I've just noticed that when you start a thread there is no smilie option for the first post, either on first submission, or on subsequent edits.
The smile at the bottom of this I had to add using text.

  • A Moderator can "Sink" a thread, this prevents new posts from bumping it. Without knowing the posts in question, I can't say if someone did.

    Oh, and Happy Birthday.

  • Thanks!
The threads were "Photobucket issue !?" and "Opera 12.17 loading problem".

  • Photobucket issue is currently in the right place for its last post. The other one had been "sunk", it is now unsunk but if users keep bumping it simply to get attention I'm sure it'll be sunk again.

  • Thanks, that explains one of them.
I suspect the other one wasn't the Photobucket one after all, but one of the others I've posted to recently.
If threads can be set to not bump that's fair enough, I'm sure a thread wouldn't be set like that without good reason!

  • Would it be appropriate to mark such ones somehow?
Should posters see that the thread has got a leak below the waterline?
