Opera VPN Pro service won’t start on Windows, anyone seen this?

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to install VPN Pro in Opera on Windows, but I keep getting this message: “Opera VPN Pro service failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.”
Not really sure what’s causing it. I’ve already tried reinstalling and restarting, but no luck so far.
Has anyone run into this before or knows what might fix it?

Make sure you have the x64 ".NET Desktop Runtime 8" (8.0.26 currently) from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0 installed.
