i really like everything about the new look but my bookmarks wont sync, i have signed in with my opera account but some of my bookmarks r still missing

Though I'm not entirely sure if they will only use it for that one specific site. I mean the Opera Mini Web Browser apps that request it, isn't it? with server side and everything...

but I install it anyway.

Not a bad look, though it sucks that i cant access my previous bookmarks and saved pages may be you can add that on the next update.

I like the new changes and I encourage you to KEEP the turbo mode and not patch it out.
I must be blunt however. There are 2 reasons why I use Opera and no other browser. One is that it can load in a static format very quickly (turbo mode), and the other was the integrated RSS feeds. Without the RSS feeds, Opera Mini loses all value to me

How do you transfer / import your bookmarks from the previous version??? Android 2.3.4 and up

if I recall correctly they mention something like transfering data from old opera mini on the first launch.

Maybe need to clear the new opera mini data first ?

I would assume you mean transferring bookmarks and speed dials from old opera mini to the new one I agree with d-wa .... you'll have to sync with your opera account... and when you launch the new opera mini.... they will be there.

I just upgraded from ver. 29.0.1809 to 30.0.1856, but I regret - this version is slower(!) than the previous one and it jams(!) when loading web pages - even here I had trouble with a full loading of the page, I tried 4 times, I'm on Turbo and HSPA.
There's no night mode in this version!
I would go back to the previous version if it would have been possible.
