The Opera Update Loop

Running Opera 27.x.

Go to "About Opera" and it checks for updates, finds some/them, downloads, and tells me to restart Opera for update to take.

I shut down Opera. Wait a moment. Start it up again.

The "About Opera" is still open in a tab, showing Opera 27.x, re-downloads the update, and tells me to restart Opera for update to take.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

I must be missing something.

Try downloading the update manually for the Opera website and installing it that way.

The folder with the new build/version is created?
