i just updated Opera from Playstore last week on my Redmi note9Pro. its basically crashed. .
the search bar/address bar is broken, unable to type, its hanged and then not responding, turns into black screen, and when i press android home button, it goes in the background and unable to recall to front screen.

i tried to bring it back to front screen but was not responding and notice pop up - opera not responding, wait or close? i tried both.
wait = nothing happen.
close = issue repeats.

i checked and switch to other keyboard, reset, reinstalling doesn't help. when is the next update?

We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. To assist us in resolving it, could you please share the following details:

1 Are there any suggestions displayed when you type and it becomes slow? E.g. bookmarks, speed dial shortcuts, browsing history, open tabs, etc.
2 Is synchronisation enabled?
3 When you get the issue again and see the dialog offering to close or wait for the app to recover, could you tap the "Close the app" button and then restart the app. Kindly, share your installation ID (can be found in Settings > About Opera).
4 Is it also slow for you when you type in other input fields, e.g. search in the browser settings?
5 Can you install Opera Beta and see if this issue is still reproduced for you?
6 Share a recording or a screenshot illustrating the steps that lead to the issue to occur, if possible.
