    Speed Dial in v28 is there a way to remove the thick grey bar?

      How can I remove the thick grey bar with the Speed Dial/Bookmarks/Discover icons from the Speed Dial page in v28?

        You can disable opera://flags/#webui-navigation-bar to return the bar to its old state. However you should note that this option will not be available in future versions.

          Do you mean that future versions the thick grey bar will become a permanent feature?

            It looks like next versions will have it as a permanent feature 😞 In Opera 29 dev it is located at the bottom of the page!!! Horrible, no chance to change that location....

              I found out why probably they transferred the navigation bar to the bottom of the page in Opera 29 dev. It is about their new "extension sidebar" that if you enable it is located on the left 😞 ...but the question is: Who is using that sidebar? Or even better.... if they really want to implement it to opera, let the users to have a chance to choose a location of those bars. It is not complicated as I presume...

                So and so excuse.

                They could at least have left it in the original position, in the top, where the other elements of the UI (tab bar, address...) are nearer so it's easier accessible.
