      Hello,

I’m using the Opera GX browser and I’ve encountered an issue in the Quick Access section. Even though I’ve set Google as my default search engine, the browser keeps showing the "Search the Web with Yandex" box.

There is no option to disable or remove this Yandex search box, and I couldn’t find any solution online. It’s really frustrating and affects my browsing experience.

I’ve also attached a screenshot of the issue for better understanding.
Please help me fix this problem.

      Thank you in advance! 3f2b8ec4-35c1-4cc7-851c-3d7c5ff9d675-image.png

@Hasovski As already said several times, search engine in Speed Dial/Start page can't be changed.

@Hasovski Speed dial search is determined by your locale. In this country it will always be set to Google, in Russia it will always be Yandex, etc. I recall some Ukrainian users being upset they were forced to use Yandex as well - hopefully Opera has thought better of that choice by now. But unless you plan to move, you can't change it. The only meaningfull option is to hide it from the Speed dial page and search in the address bar instead.
