Error when clicking on sections in YouTube

This had never happened to me before, but it just started today. When I’m on YouTube and try to click on certain things, it doesn't work like pausing a video, opening the comments, lowering the volume, minimizing the video, etc. It only lets me use keyboard shortcuts.

I’ve already tried clearing the cache, restarting the PC (a bit drastic), and checking the settings to find a solution, but nothing has worked so far.
