I really don't like split screen getting triggered accidentally when I just want to detach a tab from the current window* (because I want to move it to the second monitor mostly), but I do sometimes use it (because sometimes I don't use the second monitor), so I don't really want to disable it completely. Good news - I've found in the settings that there's an option with it turned on to toggle whether it should be triggered by dragging - excellent, just what I wanted. Bad news - where the heck is any option to enter split screen without that? I haven't found nor it, nor any information about it. Like there's no other option than dragging. So yeah, you can disable the gesture without disabling split screen, but you won't be able to use the functionality anyway.

      • If anyone from Opera Software reads this - please, for the sake of all that's nice in this world, don't, absolutely don't hide detaching from a window under some weird trigger or right click option. Knowing some Opera features I'd unfortunately wouldn't be surprised...

@Hshan As said, you can select two tabs, right click and click on the Create Split Screen option. You don't have such option?

@leocg And how do I select two tabs? Because Ctrl-clicking doesn't do it for me, and I don't really have any better idea.
