How do you make synch actually happen

I'm trying to move to a new machine. I've logged into my account on both and set the synch options (to all on) on both.
On the source machine it says it's all synched and has the correct counts for the various items.
On the destination machine, however, nothing happens.
If I go to 'show other bookmarks', it shows a completely different email address an a random selection of about a dozen bookmarks.
What do I need to do to get the speed dial page to look as it did on the source machine?

@LordVetinari Go to opera://bookmarks and copy the content you want from Other Speed Dials to Speed Dial

@leocg I have 11 different sources shown in "other speed dials". Only one is my primary source, to be copied.
Right clicking shows a blurred menu, with "copy" as an option. Unfortunately it's blurred out, making it dysfunction...
Any solution?

@cypernisse Access that entry and copy the content from inside it.

@leocg That menu is not functional. As mentioned, pop up text is blurred out and nothing happens, when clicking on any options.

@cypernisse So if you access the source you want, can't you copy the content to Speed Dial?

@leocg it's now possible to copy the relevant source of bookmarks.
unfortunately I don't see anywhere to 'place' the copied content... -

Double-check that both devices are logged into the same sync account. If not, sign out on the destination machine and sign in with the correct email. Also, confirm you're using the same browser profile. Once synced properly, your Speed Dial and bookmarks should appear as expected
