I'm trying to move to a new machine. I've logged into my account on both and set the synch options (to all on) on both.
On the source machine it says it's all synched and has the correct counts for the various items.
On the destination machine, however, nothing happens.

It sounds like the destination machine is signed into a different account. Double-check that both devices are logged into the same sync account. If not, sign out on the destination machine and sign in with the correct email. Also, confirm you're using the same browser profile. Once synced properly, your Speed Dial and bookmarks should appear as expected
— sometimes chat history can disappear due to a browser cache issue or if there's been an update on Opera's end. Try checking if you're logged into the same Opera account you were using before. Also, clearing cookies might have wiped local data if the chats weren't synced to your account. Hopefully, it's just a temporary glitch
