Xiaomi Redmi Note 12S with HyperOS 2.0.2.0, Opera for android 88.2.4661.83589
I just made a factory reset in my android phone and I was very suprised after installing Opera, which I have been using for years, that there is suddenly no option to select a different search engine, than Google. Before the reinstall I could have chosen from few others. Is it a bug or a feature?

@jan-strnad List of available search engines may change depending on the region. Did you install Opera while in a different place?

Hello. Thank you for your answer. The region was set as the same like always before. I've tried to switch it from Czech to Germany, did a reinstall, but nothing changed. Google is still the only search engine, with no other options.

Problem solved. It was blocked by a VPN. Disabling it and its other features for a one time setup did help. Thank you for trying to help me.
