How Opera would be affected if Google couldn't pay browsers for searches?

I wonder how Opera would be affected by a ban, that wouldn‘t allow Google to give royalities to other browser vendors to set Google as their standard search engine.
Mozilla seem to be very worried, if I understand correctly what they’re after in this blog post:
      https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/internet-policy/proposed-remedies-browsers/
I‘ve read that Opera as a company is also very dependent on search contracts with Google. Is there any statement or wouldn‘t they do it in order not to crash their shares?

@MyLighthouse-0 If Google were no longer able to pay browsers like Opera for setting it as the default search engine, it would likely have a financial impact, but Opera would still have options. Like Mozilla, Opera generates a significant portion of its revenue from search partnerships, with Google being the primary search provider. Losing that revenue stream could mean Opera would have to look for alternative deals, possibly with Bing, DuckDuckGo, or other search engines willing to pay for default placement.

Opera has also been diversifying its revenue sources, including integrating AI features, expanding into gaming with Opera GX, and offering premium services like Opera VPN and ad-blocking. While a loss of Google’s payments would be a hit, Opera wouldn’t necessarily be in the same situation as Mozilla, since it has different business strategies beyond just search engine royalties.

As for an official statement, they might not comment unless there's a real possibility of this happening, since acknowledging dependence on Google could raise concerns among investors. But if a ban were to be enforced, Opera would likely pivot quickly to secure new deals or adjust its business model to compensate.
