Why it's not possible to add Qwant (or any other search engine) as default?
Seems like their addons have been removed from Opera addons page, and installing it from Chrome store doesn't make Qwant the default - it requiers to use some shortcuts.

@alienpriv As widely said, only the pre-defined search engines can be set as the default one.

@leocg Yeah, but then why the selection of pre-defined search engines is much bigger on mobile Opera? There I can select Qwant. This makes no sense.

@alienpriv Maybe they have reached an agreement on the mobile browser but not on the desktop ones

It's not impossible that the issue is that Qwant aren't paying them to include it in the list.

I'd like to have Qwant too. Opera isn't going to be my default browser without letting me set the default search to the site I want to use.
