Getting loads of emails in different languages?

Asked to be notified if things were added to a couple of discussions in English
I have now received 190 emails, some in different languages (german, spanish etc) on all sorts of subjects I did not ask for
Dont know how to stop them - cant find anything in profile?
Can anyone help?

Go to your profile - beneath your avatar their should be a button "Edit preferences". I gather you must have enabled one of the too generic items, such as "Notify me when people start new discussions." Even with me being a moderator that would quickly flood my inbox ...

Wow! what a relief Sgunhouse...... found it and just left it as people commenting on MY discussions....
Think that should do it - I hope so as I am up to 243 emails now!
