Search box shows up uninvited

So there's this thing with the latest update of Opera. When I go to my profile page and want to comment on someones picture or simply leave a comment by starting with the sign . (dot) it opens up the search bar. does it happen to anyone else.

If focus is not in a text area, the dot/period key is supposed to do that. Profile on what site?
