Typing in bookmark search bar - can you?

Has anyone here had any success using the bookmark search bar?
I tryyyyyyyyy to type in a word - and blammo. If I'm not quick as a bunny, it takes the first two or three letters and off it goes, searching its idiotic heart out, bringing me nothing I want from my bookmarks. Stupidest thing I've ever seen.
I can not type a full word in the search bar. Can anyone?

WFM in Opera Next (beta). I tried typing in several terms, and I was able to find bookmarks matching those terms.
Don't get me wrong--when I would just enter 2-3 characters, it would try a search, but nothing prevented me from continuing to type, and getting different results with the longer search term.
If you can't resolve this before then, when Opera 27 goes from beta to release, your problem will be solved by then--at the latest.

Just what it did. It cut me off and searched after a few letters, sometimes one if I didn't forge ahead. I have never been able to type in a full word.

Can you believe? I happened on a dropdown and now my screen is in POLISH?
How do I return to English? Hovering on the Polish bars don't help.

Alt+P to open settings, 6th item down on the list. Change it back to your favored language.
