Hello,

I had Opera 70.0.3653.66031. Sync enabled.
Don't want to update. Don't want ai.
Updates disabled in play store.
Opera keeps displaying a pop-up to update and it's so damn fast, I unfortunately pressed on it.
It updates to 86.5.4550.82704

I've done this before over the years, it has worked.

This time: all tabs gone.
No biggie, just sign-out and sign back in.
Check on PC in incognito in Brave browser: all tabs and everything is still synced
Sign back into opera 70 on Android
Still nothing/no option to restore tabs
Ok, I guess it must be in the new version. I'll just "update" it then downgrade again

Expected bevahior

The constant update notification should be set to use the system flag: if system/global updates are disable = no in-app notifications that "hey, there's a newer/better/more secure/ai-chat-french-fry version available and you must update now"
Sync should have versioning. ex: go back to tabs/settings synced 1-2-3-days/weeks ago. Otherwise, it is just mirroring one device and insta-syncing it, including if there are issues which totally defeats the purpose. Or I'm just pampered by what other syncing services offer.
Nice to have: big button somewhere in the app that says "restore synced data" that when pressed, starts to sync the opera.com data onto your phone.
Having the phone sync to opera.com and no option to explicitly sync from opera.com to the phone creates the above problem I've just experienced.

inb4: clinically insane person doesn't updates and this will make it almost 100% his fault and not something we should fix in the app

I hope this helps someone. Will try to find a service that actually gives me control over the sync process in the meantime.
