[Multiplicated]Changing search engine in settings but not registering by opera win 11

I've tried in vein to change the search engine from Google to DuckDuckGo with no success.

I went to Settings and changed there. When I go back to Settings, it shows DuckDuckGo. However, on the Speed Dial (and other pages), it still has Google. I have closed and opened Opera with no success.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

@Dalliance As already answered multiple times, search engine on start page can't be changed.
