Is anyone else confused by Sync/Flow/Workspaces?

I work on multiple devices for multiple reasons in multiple locations and was excited when I found out about the workspaces feature in Opera. However, I soon found out that the workspaces weren't syncing between devices. On top of that, my desktop bookmarks were not on my ipad or iphone. I tried playing with both synchronization and flow, but I can't figure out what the difference is. Maybe I am missing something, but it sure would be nice to go from one device to another and have the same content and resources across platforms. If that is going to work, why shouldn't I go back to Chrome?

@fulltimemonti I don't know how they can be confused, they are totally different features.

@fulltimemonti My Flow is for you to manually exchange information between your desktop and your phone.
So if you start reading something on the phone, you can use My Flow to send the link to the desktop and continue reading there and vice-versa.
You can also share pictures between them, make notes for yourself, etc. -

@fulltimemonti Workspaces are a way to group tabs, separating them by context.
So you can have a workspace with tabs related to news, another one with streaming services, a third one for social networks and so on.

Opera's Workspaces currently do not sync across devices, which is likely why you're not seeing the same setup on all platforms. For syncing bookmarks, tabs, and other data, Opera uses Synchronization, but it doesn’t extend to Workspaces. Flow, on the other hand, is designed for quick, device-to-device sharing of links, notes, and files—not syncing Workspaces or bookmarks.
If syncing Workspaces and seamless cross-device usage are essential, and Opera doesn't meet your needs, switching back to Chrome might be a good option since Chrome offers robust cross-device synchronization for bookmarks, tabs, and extensions.

@Fradyse123 Thank you for the great explanation. I have become used to Opera and still prefer it over Chrome. Maybe someday they will synchronize workspaces. However, I could not get flow to work or even the synchronization of my bookmarks, so I am still using Chrome on mobile devices.
The funny thing is, I am usually pretty adept at technology, so I am not sure if it is me or Opera that makes it difficult for me to wrap my head around their features. Maybe I am just getting old.

@fulltimemonti ayup. lol. I made the decision, however, that as much as I love Opera, its not there yet. So I use it as a novelty and keep GooglyMoogly as my default. It works out. If Opera acts silly I pick a fight with Aria (shes a dirty pirate hooker) and bail
