Isn't it still possible in Opera's own addon store? I think the announcement based on the fact, that they're still maintaining an independent own which gives them options to collaborate with deverlopers.

@pilis00 I don't think, they will really. They've got their own "Shields" - maintaining support for uBO MV2 wouldn't be necessary as they have their own solution which is a USP in a way and bringing them even more costs.
Honestly, in my opinion Opera shouldn't support every single extension that will continue having MV2, as long as they'll keep supporting uBO or AdGuard, as how Brave does, it's perfect.

Apparently also AdGuard confirms that MV2 will remain in Opera:
Mozilla Firefox or Opera – if you’re looking for an alternative, these browsers still support MV2-based extensions, meaning you can continue using your favorite ad-blocking tools without disruption.
