[Duplicated]Opera browser didn't save my settings

I installed Opera and set my preferences, I also imported my bookmarks. The problem is that every time I close Opera it has not saved any of the settings, preferences, or bookmarks. Each times it restarts as if it was the first time I opened the browser. I adjust the settings again and import the bookmarks... can someone help me? Iam going crazy

Sounds like Opera is having trouble writing changes to files in "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable".
Make sure the folder is not set to read only.
If still no go, delete the "Opera Stable" folder (and the one in "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Opera Software" too) and start over. Then, make sure Opera saves changes before trying to import anything.
You can also try a test standalone installation to a folder named "Opera Test" to see if that test Opera saves changes at least.
Also, make sure you don't have any programs like CCleaner clearing your Opera data on you.

@arpenaz2000 I guess the most obvious thing to do is to create a new profile directory to see if the problem is with the current one.
