I don't understand the differences between workspaces and pinboards- they seem to do the same thing?

@lvsunzsb They are very different. Workspaces are just a way to have tabs grouped and Pinboards are like a board where you can write something, pin a photo, add a webpage, etc.

@leocg Thank you very much. I'm new to Opera (mainly Chrome) and it looks very impressive but, at least for me, a lengthy learning curve with so many options different from Chrome. Thanks again!

@leocg Thanks much. I'm trying to set up multiple Workspaces, e.g. I named a Workspace Opera but I'm having trouble adding various Opera links to that Workspace. When I click on Opera Workspace there is no option to Add?

@lvsunzsb Just open tabs and load the pages you want to be in that workspace.

@leocg I don't see where I can do that- I'm used to Copy & Paste- tried everything I can think of without success- sorry it's taking me so long.

@lvsunzsb To open a new tab you click on the + button on the right of tabs bar. Or you can use menu > new tab.

@leocg Thanks again- I've been doing that for quite awhile but it doesn't help me add stuff to Opera Workspace.

@lvsunzsb What exactly you want to add? Like I said, workspaces are just a way to have tabs grouped by a subject.
So, basically, in a workspace you only add tabs.

@leocg OK, I've been trying to add some items from my Start Menu- thanks again.

@lvsunzsb Start Menu? You mean start page? Just open them in the workspace you want.

In the sidebar, left-click the icon for the workspace you want to switch the tab bar to. The tab bar will then only show tabs for that workspace and not tabs from the other workspaces. Then, anything you do while that workspace is selected will open up tabs in that workspace. This includes opening up a new tab by clicking the + button on the tab bar or clicking a speed dial on the start page etc.

However, you can right-click on a speed dial on the start page, goto "open in workspace" and select the workspace (other than the current workspace you're in) you want to open the page in. You can also right-click on a tab when you're in any workspace, goto "Move to" and choose any other workspace to move the tab out of the current workspace and into the target workspace.

Think of workspaces as separate tab bars. Maybe that will help.
