      Hi all,
      I have just installed a new HD and reinstalled all my programs and what not.
      When trying to watch sky through the sky go website i cant play on now channels. In the address bar it just says,

      http://go.sky.com/resources/mpod/static/GOPC/COMMON/STATICPAGES/ERRORPAGES/error500.html

      Things like catch up and box sets work fine.
      I have tried google'ing this and looking everywhere but cant find a solution. Is anyone else having this problem?

        Looking at the "mpod" in that URL, I wonder if Sky Go is trying to use a mobile version when you are on a desktop browser.
        Possibly the server is mis-identifying the browser as a mobile device.
        If you go just to http://go.sky.com does the resulting full URL in the address bar then say "http://go.sky.com/vod/...." or something else?

          500 means "internal server error"; sometimes reloading the page (if they changed the address on you as they did, that means going back to the previous page and trying the link again) will fix it. They have some other suggestions on this site such as clearing your cache or cookies, though when this forum gives me such an error (and reloading doesn't help) I usually just wait a while and try again.

            Thanks for the replies, I have reset Opera, cleared the cache and what not and its worked.

            Sky is now working perfectly. Thanks for the help!!
