Opera Sync?

Not too sure what your question is ?.
'Sync' and 'Link' are two separate products.
'Sync' is the new 'Synchronisation' service that is currently only compatible with the new Blink versions of Opera, and is limited in what it can currently Sync (Speed Dials IIRC), because it is still being developed and is not yet complete.
'Link' on the other hand, is the old synchronisation service that is compatible with all old Presto versions of Opera (Mini, Mobile Classic and Desktop 12.17 and older), but is not compatible with the new Blink versions of Opera (stable, Beta and Developer) for Android, Desktop (15+).

Hi,
Sorry. I want to be able to sync my bookmarks and speed dials and passwords and addons between my devices.
When I go to the Opera Menu--> More tools--> Sync it goes to Opera Link. But it doesn't work.I am using the latest Opera.

Okay I tried activating the Synchronization flag and after restarting the browser, the Opera Menu--> More tools--> Sync disappeared.
I installed Opera yesterday by the way.

Near the upper right right side of your Opera Window there should be an icon for synchronization. Thats where you log into sync from. The other location is in the Opera menu -> synchronize, which is in between bookmarks and downloads. Hope that helps.

lando242,
I reenabled the Syncronizathion flag and I found that icon and one in the menu.
However, it only appears to have syncronized the bookmarks. No Speedial nor addons and no passwords. Is that normal?

Yes.
So when can a new Sync release be expected? Not even passwords are being synced...

When it's ready.
Right... I still remember using Opera from 2006 to 2012 or so. It was so much better back then.
