anyone else notice 4326 logon events (type 2) in their windows Security log where the Process Name is opera.exe ?

This seems awful strange. Any reason why opera would do this?

@gnomic999 When it happens? How it happens? What that message means?

By "Windows security log", do you mean the "Security" log in the Windows Event Viewer?

@burnout426 well i discovered you can generate the event yourself by accessing a password in your password manager - i.e. when you do the fingerprint logon to access password manager, then look for the most recent 4624 event...
Sorry, this about 4624 logon event, type 2, not 4326...
if you create a custom view against the security log that only contians 4624 events, it will be easier to find...
Didn't want to send the screen shot because of personal computer info involved...

@gnomic999 The same event is triggered when you do the same in other Chromium based browsers?

@gnomic999 said in Opera.exe 4326 logon event, type 2 in windows security log:

you can generate the event yourself by accessing a password in your password manager

Yep. I can confirm. Seems legit since you have to enter your user account password to reveal passwords. The log is just showing that. Should happen with all Chromium-based browsers at least.

Maybe i worry for nothing... 😞
