I can't even install Opera here on my Mac

Per advice here on this forum, regarding another issue, I uninstalled Opera on my Mac. Now I'm just trying to re-install it. And, it's not working. It doesn't install. It comes up with this message. I've tried about ten times now. I've got a perfect network connection. I have fast internet access.

@peterbb Can you get the offline installer? Try using it.

@leocg Sorry. What's the offline installer? I'm using what came in the zip file that I downloaded using Safari.

@leocg Cool. Yeah. That worked. But why in the world would I need an offline installer when I got a zip file with an app file enclosed from the Opera website?

@peterbb You shouldn't need, but for some reason the installer wasn't being able to connect to Opera servers to download the browser, and using the offline installer is a workaround.
