Have been using Opera for few months. Have not changed any settings, always been in dark mode, and never forced dark mode. Today my opera crashed and since this, the dark mode has not worked.
My sidebar, search bar and tabs are all white, while actually using websites it functions normally except for the above. Please could someone give me some advice i really need it back to where it should be.- i have reset my whole opera to default
- restarted my mac
- checked my mac system settings
- deleted and reinstalled opera
- on my gaming laptop and phone it is not having this issue

Also it seem i solve the problem.
It seem that not all themes are compatible with opera.
Currently i switched theme in Gnome tweaks to
Cursor: "Adwaita(default)"
icons: "Adwaita(default)"
Shell: "Adwaita(default)"
Legacy application: "Adwaita-dark"
Everything return back to normal dark style -

@ami-go im also having the same problem as @Mimi2234 Mimi2234 and I'm on mac as well, is there a way to configure settings on mac (since its not Ubuntu) to get the normal dark style? Any information on how to replicate similar changes you did but on mac would be helpful, thanks!

@blad3dancer1 Fix!
-Go to settings and turn 'increase contrast' and 'reduce transparancy' off (or on and off) in accessibility settings and restart opera.
-if you usually have them on like me turn them back on after the restart(it does not affect opera after its restarted unless you close and reopen it again).

@mimi2234 Much Thanks! I was so confused because I recently updated Opera (after keeping it open for months) and during that it seems I changed the settings on my Mac. Thanks again for the huge help, the glaring white was getting to me, especially at night.
