Losing Months of Gathered Tabs When Opening/Saving Second Window

I've been using the Opera browser for years. I often have many tabs open in one window, organized into different workspaces in the sidebar. Sometimes, I accidentally open a new window with only a few tabs alongside my main window with lots of tabs. After closing both windows, Opera only opens the second (new) window with a few tabs, and I lose all my important tabs. It's extremely frustrating and time-consuming to retrieve them from the history. Is there a better way to do this?
P.S. I believe software should warn users before potentially causing significant loss, like deleting tabs collected over weeks! Therefore, I suggest providing a warning before deleting tabs. (Also, as an immediate step, I suggest moving the 'Link in new window' option further down in the dropdown menu to prevent accidental openings like mine.) -

@markuswolf Opera warns you when closing a window with many tabs.

Not entirely true (If I am not mistaken): If I open opera after closing two windows (one with the load of tabs, one with only a few) it will reopen only the last one with the few tabs. All other tabs are lost. -

Not at me. Possibly there is a setting to stop the warnings, which I may have ticked 10 years ago? -

@markuswolf I said that you can reopen closed windows, what is something different.

@leocg How can I reopen not the last window, but the one before (The one with the loads of my tabs)?

@markuswolf You can use recently closed under menu > history or you can use the tabs menu.
