Opera is slow

I've been using opera in Windows 10 on my laptop for a long time. Recently, I install the window and install the opera browser, but it doesn't really work well. It's really slow, and when I enable VPN, it goes slower and can't load the website.

@andrew42663 First you need to define slow. Slow on what exactly?
And VPN will make things very slow as warned in the VPN section in settings page.

I have the same behavior. Up to 30 Sec before able to use it as it will not load any Sites ... as it would not have interentconnection for this timeframe. All other systems work. Hope it will be fixed soon otherwise i will move to the competition.

mine has been slow for about a fortnight ,
the only way i found was to completely uninstall and reinstall it but after a few hours its back slow again , ,recovery does nothing to help at all.
