Any tips on closing just one window?

Hi everyone,
Lately, I've noticed that when I close one window in Opera, all Opera windows close simultaneously. Not tabs, but windows.
What I'd like to be able to do is, say I have three windows open: I close one window, but I want to keep the other two open.
Is there a way I can do that?
My version is 107.0.5045.71. I have do not have any extensions installed/enabled, and I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling. Anecdotally, this issue seems more common when I'm on a video call (e.g. FB Messenger or Google Meet), but this isn't a 100% iron-clad rule.

@annoyed-at-updates Closing just one window shouldn't affect the other ones.
How are you closing the windows?
