No sync between devices

Been trying to switch to Opera because I was tired of google and their way of forcing people to pay for add free videos on youtube. So I'm done with chrome. And MS Edge is a pain in the a**, it never respects the choice of default search engine as one of the faults.
Opera is simply the best browser that I have tried, but! Why are the synchronization between my Windows and Android devices so horrible!? Everything is set to On in the synchronization settings, and I even tried pairing with QR code. All devices are signed in my Opera account, and still, only the local browsing history is shown. And I don't get any option for viewing more when opening the history tab.
Opera, how hard can it be??? I have once again uninstalled it, and I'm seriously considering moving away from Opera now

@leocg Hi!
In the tab About under Local State, everything says OK and the sync time is updated. The only thing that seems disabled is Local Sync Backend Enabled and Local Backend Path is set to Uninitialized
Do you need any specific data?
I have tried to reinstall on both my Android and Win 10 device this evening. Am yet to test if anything has changed. But I've tried that before without luck. I have noticed that a few times, the setting had gone from ON to OFF automatically in the synchronization setting
Thanks for the reply

@leocg Everything is green and the sync status goes yellow regularly during updating. And then everything is fine. Tried parring with QR code again and nothing works. Only local history is shown on my devices.
Think I'm leaving this platform for good now. Features like these should just work straight away. After all, we are in 2024
I appreciate your help sir
