GX profiles: clicking on a link opens a tab in another profile.

Please help me understand GX Profiles.

I have Opera GX (default browser) and an additional GX profile (for work).
Is it possible to make it so that when I click on a link (outside the browser), a tab opens in the active browser window? That is, in the active profile?
Now when I have a browser open for work (profile) and I click on a link, the Opera main window opens (because it is the default?) and a tab with the link I clicked on opens in it.
Can this be fixed? -
When I select text and drag it to the search box (aka the address bar), the new tab does not open at the end of the tabs, but as the first tab or in a random place. I'm sure it used to open as the last tab. Now it has changed. Can this be fixed?
I could not find the answers to my questions on my own.
